Coronavirus update - we're still delivering, postage is just taking slightly longer

How does the subscription work?

Each month subscribers recieve a new book from leading authors, adventurers and independent publishers.

Occasionally we'll send a high quality outdoor journal, but since the coronavirus we've been concentrating on books so you can lose yourself in the pages.

Whether it's a book or journal, each publication is worth £10 - £18 averaging over £25 every 2 months.

Which subscription is best for me?

Most of our subscribers are on the 2 month subscription. This is probably the best option unless your income is irregular or you're buying as a gift.

New subscribers to our 2 month subscription can use a discount code to get the first month on us, so this is usually the cheaper option.

You can cancel at anytime, or skip a month or two forward if you have a stack of unread books.

What does it cost?

The subscription fee is £25 every 2 months, plus £4 post & packing every 2 months.

The cost is the same for 4 months and 6 months, just x2 and x3, paid up front.

If you start a 12 month subscription, you get a free month as a thank you included in the fee, with no need for a discount code.

When are renewal payments due?

Renewals are taken on the 2nd of the month. How often they are taken depends on which subscription you are on.

You will always get an email notifying you when a payment is due.

This notification also allows you to skip a couple of months, swap to a different delivery address, subscription or payment method. Or to cancel.

When will my issue arrive?

New orders are shipped immediately.

From then on all orders are shipped around the 3rd/4th of the month and arrive around the 10th.

Will I know what's coming?

No, that's part of the adventure!

See our below for a list of back issues.

What will I get in my subscription?

You will recieve a cardboard envelope, containing this month's Ink, plus a handwritten letter with the story behind this month's selection.

This is not a regular 'box scheme'. It is not a clever way of selling you stuff you don't need and wouldn't have bought. Its a simple way to recieve beautiful publications.

Will it fit through my letterbox?

Yes. We've never had an issue yet that hasn't fitted through a regular sized letterbox. So no annoying trips to the post office.

Can I deliver to someone else?

Yes. Separate billing and shipping addresses are available at checkout, ideal to send as a gift.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, of course, you are free to cancel at any time.

If you have paid for future months when you cancel, we'll still send these out to you. You get what you paid for, simple as that.

I meant to cancel but payment had been made, can I still get a refund?

No problem. Get in touch and we'll refund your payment and cancel your shipments.

What if I change address?

You can update your shipping address anytime online. Or just let us know and we will update it for you.
